ZZ Top used their Friday show to pay tribute to their bassist Dusty Hill. Bringing out Elwood Francis on bass, guitarist Billy Gibbons said, “Got a new guy up here, as you know. Dusty gave me the directive. My friend, your pal, Elwood Francis is gonna hold it down behind me.” Gibbons later acknowledged Francis during the show, saying, “How about that Elwood, tearing up that bottom there for Dusty.” According to Gibbons, Hill had wanted the band to continue on-even without him.

Do you think ZZ Top will be different without Dusty Hill? What is your favorite ZZ Top moment?
