When Motown goes Heavy Metal: ‘Ten Seconds to Run’ Mötley Crüe Mashup

In a wildly enjoyable mashup of Martha and the Vandellas‘ 1965 hit “Nowhere to Run” and Motley Crue‘s 1983 hit “Ten Seconds to Love,” we get to simultaneously enjoy a seemingly new Mötley Crüe song and also hear what happens when Motown goes Heavy Metal.

The aptly named “Ten Seconds to Run” (Ten Seconds to Love + Nowhere to Run) by the “Mötley Reeves & the Crüellas,” YouTube creator Bill McClintock blends Mötley Crüe, Martha and the Vandellas and even the solo from Ozzy Osbourne’s “I Don’t Know” to create this fun and bouncy, yet thoroughly heavy, summer track.

McClinktock has amassed quite a decent following for his signature blend of heavy metal and funk, creating other mashups like Van Wonder – “Chained Uptight” (Van Halen’s “Unchained” and Stevie Wonder’s “Uptight”) and The Temptations and Black Sabbath – “Get Ready for the Grave” (The Temptations’ “Get Ready” and Black Sabbath’s “Children of the Grave”)
