Meet the BART Man Who Absolutely Loves BART

How much do you love BART? Yes, we’re talking about the Bay Area Rapid Transit, aka, BART. Do you have a favorite BART story? How about a least favorite BART story? Or maybe you don’t love BART. That’s a very real possibility for many public transit riders. Maybe you have a love-hate relationship with BART, as you love it for its charm and functionality, but you’ve also had many frustrating experiences while waiting for late trains to arrive, or sitting on stalled trains.

Turns out, there is at least one person in the Bay Area who absolutely LOVES BART. His name is BART-Man (Bartleby Leight), and he’s an amateur wrestler. And since all superheroes have “origin stories,” here is BART-Man’s story in his own words: “The long story is I was at the Diablo Test Track and was hit by an atomic test train for SF BART. I was stepping off the train and got caught in the doors that were closing and got infused with train DNA. That was how I got started,” says BART-Man. You can follow him on Instagram @elbart_man:
