Even rock gods have rock gods they admire. Just ask Ozzy Osbourne, who tells the BBC his rock god is Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister. He says Kilmister “shot from the hip every time, adding, “I’m good at starting lyrics, but I can’t finish them. And he’d write a bunch of lyrics for my songs – ‘Mama, I’m Coming Home.’”

Osbourne says his admiration grew even stronger when he learned Kilminister had above-average reading skills. “He was a speed-reader,” Osbourne says. “He could read really fast. He was amazing! You look at people like Lemmy and you think, ‘Oh, he’s a yob.’ But he was very well-educated.”

Who’s your rock god?
