Bay Area-based metal/heavy rock band Dress the Dead has released their latest single “Circus Fleas.” .

The San Francisco group is the latest project from local veterans and former Forbidden members Craig Locicero (guitar) and Mark Hernandez (drums) which also includes Mikey Rowan of Insolence on guitar, and James Walker of Manmade God on bass.

The group formed in 2016 and was fronted by Peter Dolving of The Haunted until his sudden departure in 2018 made room for their current frontwoman Kayla Dixon.

Dixon was unsure about transitioning to the group at first but quickly felt perfectly into the roll.

“In my mind, I thought I was going to be trolled, and I didn’t know if I was ready to face that,” Dixon told Blabbermouth. “But surprisingly there has only been positivity from the first song.”

The group is planning a monthly drop of new music for the first eight months of 2021, culminating in an album.
