Have you heard of Hookers & Blow? We’re talking about the super-group featuring keyboardist Dizzy Reed from Guns N’ Roses and guitarist Alex Grossi from Quiet Riot. They’re putting out an album of covers through Golden Robot Records, including a cover of The Zombies’ “Time Of The Season.”
The Zombies are a legendary English rock band from the 1960’s, known for songs like “She’s Not There,” “Tell Her No,” and of course, “Time Of The Season.” Reed says, “We love The Zombies. Great band with a great name led by the incomparable Rod Argent and his keyboard wizardry. ‘Time Of The Season’ is an iconic song with a timeless message. It was our intention to try and honor them and all of that. To help get the word out and share the burden as well as the fun, the lovely Nadja picks up the lead vocals on this one.” Check out the full story here.
