KISS Breaks Pyro Guinness World Record

KISS is a band that truly knows how to put on a show. Take a moment from the stress of today, and watch this :30 video of a pyro display from a KISS concert on New Year’s Eve in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It’s pretty spectacular. The concert and pyro show cost the production company around $10 million, begging the question – was it worth $10 million? Some would say yes, some would say no. But it’s entertaining, that’s for sure.

Paul Stanley said $1 million alone went to the pyro portion! With the massive pyrotechnics show, the concert broke the Guinness world record for “highest flame projection in a music concert” and for “most flame projections launched simultaneously in a music concert.” It used over 50 cameras and a 250-foot stage at The Royal Beach at Atlantis.  The Guinness rep says, “I can reveal that you achieved a grand total of 73 (projections launched). You are officially amazing.”
