Wolfgang Van Halen is once again shutting down the rumor that Van Halen is planning a reunion with Wolfgang replacing his father Eddie on lead guitar. This week, Wolfgang tweeted “I can confidently say I will NEVER replace my father in Van Halen and tour around the world disrespecting my father’s memory. No EVH = No VH.”

No EVH = No VH.
Get the fuck over it, but if you can’t, just quit bothering me about it and demanding I do it when I’ve made it very clear how I feel. https://t.co/xLa2BL6K9s

Eddie Van Halen died Oct. 6th after a long battle with cancer. Wolfgang is currently focused o his solo project Mammoth WHV, which just released its first album Distance. Reunion tour aside, should Van Halen hold a one-off EVH tribute concert?
