The 49ers are taking on the Dallas Cowboys this weekend, and it shouldn’t be too hard for Mike McGlinchey to get up for this one.

McGlinchey told Zakk on 107.7 The Bone this week that he’s rooted against the Cowboys all his life growing up as an Eagles fan in the Philadelphia area.

“Definitely did not like the Cowboys one bit,” McGlinchey said.

He also detailed who he looked up to on the Eagles growing up.

“The years that they had a lot of success were when Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens and Brian Dawkins and all those guys were going really hard. But being a big fella, my favorite Eagle of all time was always John Runyan. Growing up in the Philly area and as an offensive lineman, he was one of a kind. He was a great player and a great person in the community, and just a guy I really looked up to.”
