80s Wedding Bliss: Watch Sebastian Bach Covers Led Zeppelin’s “Rock And Roll”

Ever wonder how many times bands have covered “Rock and Roll” by Led Zeppelin? Like, maybe a thousand times, or maybe one-hundred thousand times? We now know one of those times for sure, as evidence in the form of a grainy video has surfaced from a famous rock and roll photographer’s wedding in New Jersey in 1987. It features Sebastian Bach pre-Skid Row, plus Zakk Wylde (who had just recently joined Ozzy’s band), plus David “Face” Feld, Chris “Godzilla” Doliber (from Madam X). Madam X was an American hard rock band from the 80’s, originally formed by sisters Maxine and Roxy Petrucci. Also in attendance at the wedding was Steve Van Zandt, Quiet Riot’s Kevin DuBrow, and the Jon Bon Jovi family.

Check out the video above. Warning: it contains a lot of hip action and a lot of screaming. Get the full story about how Bon Jovi’s dad helped Bach get the gig with Skid Row here at Loudersound.com.
