Three Days Grace Talks About Revolutionary Drive-In Concert with Metallica

Three Days Grace brothers Matt and Brad Walst joined Baby Huey and Chasta to talk about their innovative Encore Drive-In Nights featuring Bay Area rock royalty Metallica.

In the COVID-era of entertainment many people are looking for new ways to enjoy the things we all used to take for granted. Performing concerts is not only fulfilling for the bands and the fans but also a huge source of revenue for all those involved. Countless ticket ushers, bartenders, security, and lighting and audio technicians are also out of work.

So what is one to do?

Well, the Walst brothers recently received a serendipitous phone call from a familiar name and found a way that they could perform and still be safe. Encore Drive-In Nights will feature a live stream of both rock groups and be broadcast at, you guessed it, a drive-in! Theaters all across the United States in Canada will be participating in this August 29th showcase.

Tickets are $115 per vehicle, for up to 6 people, and will include four digital downloads of Metallica’s S&M2 album.

The Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton and the West Wind Solano Drive-In in Concord will be participating locally.
