Firework shows around the Bay Area are cancelled

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Fourth of July parade and fireworks shows across the Bay Area are canceled in an effort to discourage large gatherings. Some cities will be doing virtual events including Concord, Fremont, Orinda, Pleasant Hill, Foster City, Redwood City, Gilroy, Morgan Hill and Scotts Valley.

Raheem Mostert requests to be traded

Woah. 49ers running back Raheem Mostert has requested a trade, per his agent Brett Tessler. Mostert, who was cut from a half-dozen teams before signing a three-year, $8.65 million extension with the 49ers, could apparently not get another one done.
