Hot For Teacher, Journey Revisited and Beer Drinkers & Hell Raisers to headline first drive in concert this weekend

A “Roll-in and Rock Out” live drive-in concert will be held Friday, June 12th and Saturday, June 13th, 2020 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds at 4501 Pleasanton Avenue in Pleasanton, California.

Since March, the COVID-19 shelter at home orders have been in effect in much of the state, and this live concert event will be the first live rock show since the shut-down – and the very first of its kind as a drive-in concert.

Pleasanton, Ca. – On the heels of the global pandemic, Californians who have missed going to see a live performance will get to do so after almost four months of sheltering in place. Social distancing is still the necessary action, which is why this first-of-its-kind concert keeps individuals, couples, and families safely separated in their own vehicles.

HOT FOR TEACHER, the Bay Area’s premier Van Halen Tribute, are back to continue their 20th Anniversary Tour! Joined on stage with a couple of NorCal’s best and finest classic rock tributes: Beer Drinkers & Hell Raisers (an awesome tribute to ZZ Top) and Journey Revisited (a talented Journey tribute) – this live show will be the first ever drive-in live concert!

This event features extensive sound and light production with 2 giant video screens. There will also be multiple HDTV cameras filming and the sound will be both “live” and FM simulcast .

Everybody Wants Some! These 2 nights will likely sell out quickly. Tickets are available from the Alameda County Fairgrounds website as $100 per vehicle, or $25 per person and can be bought here for the Friday, 6/12 show and here for Saturday, 6/13.

Food can be brought in, or dinner can be pre-purchased in advance. There will be a drive-thru bar; but everyone in the vehicle must be 21 years old or above. After the initial ticket purchase, a dinner offer email will be sent to the purchaser and all dinner purchases will get preferred parking in the front rows.

All involved are hoping for a great turn out and for everyone to have fun while staying safe. Rock and Roll concerts have now officially evolved in these changing times. Roll-in and Rock Out!
