The Who releases new self-titled LP “Who”

The Who at Madison Square Garden on March 3, 2016 in New York City.

The Who rocked the Chase Center on October 9th and a few weeks prior to the San Francisco show the band released a single titled¬†Ball and Chain”¬†(a re-recording of a previous Pete Townshend solo song “Guantanamo”) from the upcoming album “Who”

While touring has remained steady in recent years new music has been rare. Since Keith Moon died over forty years ago The Who has only four studio albums. Both Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend have released solo albums since 2006 but its been thirteen years since “Endless Wire“.

“Who” released today (12/6) is the 12th studio album and first self-titled LP from The Who. It features eleven songs (most written by Pete Townshend) along with three deluxe bonus tracks.
