Max & Cole Becker From SWMRS Talk About UNCOOL Fest 5, Growing Up With Billie Joe Armstrong And More

Last Saturday night we spent some time in Berkeley with Max and Cole Becker of the band “SWMRS” before their “Uncool Fest 5.” We had a wonderful deep conversation about music, being the voice of a generation and even their love of 107.7 The Bone! A few days after that night we received word that Max was involved in a serious car accident traveling through Wyoming on his way to Denver. He, along with the rest of the guys in SWMRS, is an eloquent, well spoken, highly intelligent and responsible young man. As Chasta mentioned in the interview, these guys are true role models and a fine example for their generation. Listen to the interview and you’ll see exactly what we mean. Get well Max, Josh & Natalie!

SWMRS’ latest album “Berkeley’s On Fire” is out now.
