If riding to and from your job today consider taking a longer and less traveled road
June 17th is International Motorcycle & Scooter Ride to Work Day. Held annually on the 3rd Monday in the month of June.
I ride my motorcycle to each day from home in the east bay to the BONE studios in the city. For me its a way of actually enjoying a commute that would otherwise feel a repetitive waste of time. I see many other riders each day and night but it should be more. More motorcycles and scooters would also help to reduce traffic, save energy and preserve infrastructure.
On Monday consider taking your 2-wheeler and joining the 28th Annual International Motorcycle & Scooter Ride to Work Day. Or if you are driving please be on the look out for the additional 1-million riders expected along American roads on June 17th!
