It’s Seaweed’s last week in radio after 44 years on air, and he’s had a steady stream of visitors in the studio.
Thursday it was announced that Seaweed will be inducted into the Bammies walk of fame. He is the first ever disk jockey to be given such an honor and will join the likes of Carlos Santana, Janis Joplin and Metallica.
A ceremony will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium where celebrities and fans alike will gather to honor the Weedman and watch as his plaque is put right next to Metallica’s on the walk of fame.
