Alice Cooper will be releasing his Hollywood Vampires Project on September 11th.
The star-studded album will feature Paul McCartney, Joe Perry, Dave Grohl, Joe Walsh, Johnny Depp and many more. One track is “School’s Out/Another Brick in the Wall Part 2” which also features co-lead vocals shared by Brian Johnson.
Years ago while interviewing Alice Cooper he shared details about the name. Back in the early 1970s, Alice would go out drinking and causing chaos with a group of musician friends on the Hollywood strip. Cooper, along with John Lennon, Keith Moon, Jim Morrison, Marc Bolan, Harry Nilsson, Bernie Taupin and Mickey Dolenz, were nicknamed as “Hollywood Vampires” (The band L.A. Guns would name their 1991 LP by the same name).
