Hey Boneheads!

Wow, has it been a crazy couple of days. I’ve been your official Bone Rock Girl 2008 for a week today, and already I’ve had so much fun! If I haven’t thanked you enough for your support, I want to express again my deepest appreciation and gratitude for granting me this wish. I plan to seize every opportunity presented to me throughout this once-in-a-lifetime experience. It’s going to be an unforgettable year!

The Coronation Party on St. Patrick’s Day was whirlwind, a day that changed my life. It was the culmination of all of the efforts I’ve contributed to my campaign, as well as the different emotions I felt since my first audition. Being crowned Bone Rock Girl proves to me more than ever that if you want something enough and can visualize yourself in a particular place, it can happen…..The power of positive thinking is truly awesome!

Since my coronation, I’ve been shown the "ropes" here at the station, and really just basked in the glow of my newfound glory. I’ve been able to spend some time with family and friends, which gave me an opportunity to thank them again for being so great and for the helping hands extended to me along this wild ride. I just got back from Pine Mountain Lake in Groveland where I was able to relax and spend time with my best friend Laura Lee, as well as shop for her wedding gown. My weekend came to a close with a nice glass of wine on the patio listening to The Bone. Easter was definitely great, thanks to my mom’s awesome pot roast and deviled eggs. I love ya, mom!
