Joe Hawk

Born and raised in Redwood City, Joe Hawk has been around music for as long as he can remember. You may say he was raised right when you know his first concert was the Rolling Stones when they performed with Pearl Jam on their Bridges to Babylon Tour, so big props to his Mom and Pops.

His journey to radio started in college when he introduced to the masses “The Morning Mosh Pit” on San Jose State’s own 90.5 fm KSJS Ground Zero Radio, a morning show that was non stop punk rock, ska, and metal plus a host that was hopped up on pure energy from the music. After college Joe was introduced to a new passion, craft beer. Since then he has made a name for himself in the beer industry and has started his new podcast, BONE-A-Fide Brews to bring light to the smaller lesser known breweries popping up around the Bay Area. In his free time Joe can be found either at family events, beer events or cheering on his beloved San Jose Sharks.
