Inspired by the iconic lion statues often seen outside Hollywood mansions in the 1920s, the track blends symbolism with a modern message.
With Carry the Light on the horizon, Frampton continues to evolve his sound while staying rooted in the guitar-driven style that made him a legend.

Los Fabulosos Cadillacs are celebrating 40 years as a band with a tour that stretches across Latin America and the United States. As the group marks the milestone, Sr. Flavio said they are still playing with unusual vitality, framing the anniversary as a moment to honor the road they have traveled and the energy they still bring to the stage.

The band has presented the anniversary run as a look back at a catalog that helped define Latin rock for several generations. The shows revisit songs that pushed their music far beyond Argentina, including the material that turned Matador into a continental hit and helped cement albums like Vasos Vacíos in the band’s history.

Formed in Buenos Aires in 1985, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs built their identity by moving between ska, reggae, rock, salsa, and rap without staying in one lane for long. That mix gave them a sound that kept evolving while still feeling instantly familiar to longtime fans. Four decades later, the anniversary tour works as both a celebration of their past and a clear sign that the band’s reach has not faded.

Rock legend David Lee Roth made a surprise appearance at Coachella, joining Teddy Swims onstage for a high-energy performance of the Van Halen classic Jump.

Swims, who kicked off his set with a promise of special guests, delivered on that hype in a big way. After appearances from Joe Jonas and Vanessa Carlton, the biggest moment came when Roth hit the stage to roaring cheers.

Introduced as “from the best band of all time,” Roth wasted no time bringing the energy—rocking a flashy outfit, spinning his mic stand, and strutting across the stage as the iconic synth intro of “Jump” lit up the crowd.

Though it was just one song, Roth proved he still commands the stage, while Swims soaked in the moment alongside fans—many experiencing the Van Halen anthem live for the first time.

It was a cross-generational rock moment that turned Coachella into a full-on arena show.

Gorillaz turned a late-night TV stop into a full collaboration when the group performed The Happy Dictator with Sparks on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The appearance put both acts on the same stage for a song that already stood out as one of the more distinctive tracks tied to Gorillaz’s current album cycle.

During the televised set, Damon Albarn led the performance while Sparks added their unmistakable presence to the song’s sharp, theatrical edge. The staging leaned into the track’s dramatic tone, giving the live version the same offbeat energy that helped the studio recording get attention after its release.

The song appears on The Mountain, Gorillaz’s latest album, and the Kimmel performance gave the project another national TV moment as the band continues promoting the record. Sparks’ involvement also highlighted the cross-generational appeal of the collaboration, blending Gorillaz’s genre-hopping style with the veteran duo’s art-pop sensibility.

For fans, the performance offered a clear look at how The Happy Dictator translates from record to stage, with both acts fully committed to its strange and playful mood.

Springsteen’s official merch partner, Live Nation’s Merch Traffic division, has filed a request seeking permission for law enforcement to seize bootleg items that infringe on the artist’s trademarks. The move aims to protect fans from low-quality knockoffs while preserving the integrity of officially licensed merchandise.

The Boss joins a growing list of artists — including Dua Lipa and Tate McRae — who are pushing back against unauthorized vendors operating near concert venues.

Meanwhile, Springsteen continues his U.S. tour, using his platform to speak out on political issues, which has sparked public responses, including from Donald Trump on social media.

As anticipation builds for the Newark show, the focus now extends beyond the stage — to what fans are buying outside it.

The song follows the earlier release of the album’s title track and showcases a heavier, thrash-driven edge, leaning into the band’s raw energy and signature intensity. With pounding rhythms and aggressive guitar work, “Of All People” hints at a louder, more forceful direction for the new record.

Your Favorite Toy is set to drop on April 24, marking the band’s latest studio effort and continuing their momentum with fresh material.

Alongside the release, the Foo Fighters have lined up a major run of North American stadium shows this summer, bringing their new sound to massive crowds before wrapping up the tour on August 17.

With multiple singles now out, anticipation is building for what could be one of the band’s most explosive releases in years.

Speaking about building a successful band, Mustaine stressed the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people — not just talented musicians, but also a strong team that includes managers and attorneys. His most direct advice: “Don’t hire your friends,” warning that personal relationships can complicate things when lineup changes or business decisions arise.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FF1goCy8Uig

Mustaine also opened up about the challenges of maintaining a band over time, noting how issues like money, creative control, and expectations can lead to friction. Reflecting on Megadeth’s long history of lineup changes, he acknowledged the ups and downs but emphasized that the current lineup feels “magical.”

For Mustaine, success isn’t just about talent — it’s about structure, discipline, and making the tough decisions early.
