The Buccaneers were heavily rumored to be the front runners for 49ers' safety Dashon Goldson within the past few days. After the Bucs sent a private jet to fly Goldson in to Tampa, it appears they reached a deal before they even started their trip back. 98.7 The Fan's Anthony "Booger" McFarland is reporting that the Bucs and Goldson have reached an agreement in principle. The Bucs are looking to revamp their secondary and have also been tied to a trade with New York Jet's cornerback Darrelle Revis. As of now, Goldson has been the only one the Bucs have been confirmed to be linked to since free agency started a few hours back.
