According to Dov Kleiman of Rant Sports, Mario Manningham has restructured his contract to avoid being released by the San Francisco 49ers.

#49ers WR Mario Manningham has restructured his contract in order to avoid release. Lowered base salary from $3.6M to $1.8M.

Manningham was a nice addition for the 49ers this past season, but ended up tearing his ACL late in the season.
