Billie Joe Armstrong was destined for stardom – and that was clear at an early age.

The Green Day frontman shared Wednesday a picture of himself at Berkeley’s Fantasy Studios in 1977 along with his singing teacher Mrs. Fiataroni and the engineer during the studio session. Green Day recently played at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum and is currently on tour promoting their latest album, Revolution Radio.
